Mission:

• To produce competent MS/MPhil& PhD scholars in various fields to serve the nation.
• To coordinate all matters related to provision of Higher Education after the graduation. To shoulder the responsibility for coordinating and administering MS/MPhil& PhD programs in consultation with University management as well as the Institutes/Departments offering the postgraduate programs.
• To create space for quality education and research.
• To process for student admissions, managing results and disposal of candidates.
• To facilitate students with latest research formulation and processing of new postgraduate programs and coordinating for curriculum reviews.
• To initiate revenue accumulated postgraduate programs.
• To implement and exercise the regulations for postgraduate studies.
• To arrange the meetings of Advanced Studies & Research Board (ASRB) for approval of admissions, research proposals, extension in research period, permission for holding of seminars, and recommendation for award of MS/MPhil & PhD. degree etc.
