SALU Set for Pre-Entry Test 2026 with Over 5,400 Candidates
Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, is fully prepared to conduct its Pre-Entry Test for the academic year 2026 tomorrow, with comprehensive arrangements finalized to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for thousands of aspiring students.
According to the official statistics released, a total of 5,440 candidates have registered for the test. The cohort includes 4,424 male and 1,016 female candidates who will appear for various programs of BS-I .
The test will be held simultaneously at two locations the Main Campus in Khairpur, which will host 5,078 candidates, and the Ghotki Campus, where 362 candidates will appear.
The extensive preparations for the test have received the personal attention and appreciation of Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk.
During a meeting and subsequent inspection of the examination blocks today, Dr. Khushk lauded the efforts of the organizing teams and directed all concerned officials to ensure that every facility is available for the convenience of candidates.
Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr Yousuf Khushk has extended his best wishes to all candidates appearing in the test, marking an important step toward admission into SALU’s diverse academic programs.
Key arrangements have been made to provide a secure and comfortable environment for all participants. Robust security measures have been implemented, and dedicated parking areas have been designated to accommodate all vehicles.
For the ease of candidates and their families, essential amenities have been prioritized, canteens will remain open, clean drinking water will be readily available, and first-aid stations will be on standby to handle any potential emergencies.
Recognizing the importance of family support, the university has also made special provisions for parents and guardians. Designated waiting areas have been set up at the Model School, offering a comfortable and sheltered space for families while the candidates appear for their tests.
Candidates have been advised to bring their original admission forms and CNIC/B-Form and to arrive well before the scheduled time to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
The meeting and inspection were attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi, Deans Professor Dr. Noor Ahmed Shaikh, Professor Dr. Mushtaque Ali Jakhrani, Professor Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Professor Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Registrar Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh, DSP Khairpur Mir’s Asadullah Bhatti, Director Admissions Aamir Waseem Pathan, Inspector of Colleges Directorate Syed Munir Ahmed Shah Rashidi, Professor Dr. Nazar Hussain Phulpoto, Dr. Sahib Oad, and other senior faculty and officials.
