SALU VC Dr Khushk Joins Rotarians’ Get-Together, Announces University’s Support in Cervical Cancer Awareness Drive

A cordial get-together of the Rotarians of Khairpur was held at the Rotarian Dr. Panhyar's farmhouse , gracefully organized by Dr. M hassan Abro .
The gathering was marked by the presence of Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Meritorious Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Mr. Fayaz Hussain Rahojo, along with distinguished personalities including Dr. Aftab Lashari, Dr. Murad Khamisani, Dr. Aijaz Gajani, Dr Phull,Prof. Abdul Salam Shaikh, Abdul Razakh Shaikh, and Zamir Lashari. The event proved to be a memorable evening of friendship, reflection, and meaningful exchange.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk announced SALU’s full collaboration with the medical community in the awareness campaign against cervical cancer in women. He highlighted that the majority of women can benefit from the free vaccination facility available for its prevention. He further underscored the vital role of SALU’s female student societies, representing nine districts of Sindh, in extending this message across communities.
“With the active cooperation of our student societies, the University will stand shoulder to shoulder with the medical community in spreading awareness and safeguarding the health and future of our women,” Dr. Khushk emphasized.
The Vice Chancellor reiterated that SALU holds social responsibility as one of its core values and is committed to working in partnership with all stakeholders for the welfare and progress of society.
