A grand Annual Literary Conference and Poetry Recital Session was held at the revered Dargah of Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Hashmi in Khuhra Shareef, marking the 303rd martyrdom anniversary of the great saint and religious scholar. The event, organized under the patronage of the Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Shaheed Cultural, Educational, and Development Trust, was presided over by Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur.
The incumbent Sajjada Nasheen of the Dargah, Makhdoom Nadeem Hashmi, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests, including scholars, poets, and officials, presenting them with traditional Sindhi Ajrak and Khes as a symbol of cultural honor. The conference saw the participation of prominent academics, researchers, and literary figures who gathered to pay tribute to the legacy of Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Hashmi, a revered spiritual leader and martyr of Sindh.
Renowned scholars presented insightful research papers, shedding light on the life, teachings, and martyrdom of Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Shaheed. Among the key speakers were:

Mir Sobdar Saeed Sajjad Mirani Ibrahim Khokhar captivated the audience with their soul-stirring poetry, earning thunderous applause.
In his presidential address, Dr. Yousuf Khushk emphasized the historical and spiritual significance of the conference, stating:

Dr. Khushk praised Makhdoom Nadeem Hashmi for consistently organizing the event and announced that Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, through the Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Chair, would spearhead research on the saint’s life, literary works, and historical influence.
