Eligibility Criteria for admission in MS/M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs  2025

Pre-requisite for MS/M.Phil Program:
The candidates having BS/BBA/B.Com/BPA/BS (Education) (4-years degree)/Sixteen years of schooling (120 credit hours) or M.A./M.Sc./M.Com/ MBA/MBBS/MPA/M.Ed. Examination in relevant disciplines in 2nd Division at least (50% marks) in the last examination from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur or equivalent qualification from any other HEC recognized University can apply for admission in MS/M.Phil Program

Pre-requisite for Ph.D Program:
A candidate possessing MS/M.Phil or Master Degree with 18 years’ education or equivalent qualification with 1st Division (60%) or CGPA 3.00 (out of 4.00 in Semester System) from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur or from any other HEC recognized university can apply for admission in Ph.D. program.

Testing Requirement.

Applicants to MS/M.Phil/Ph.D programs shall be required to fulfill the following testing requirements:

a.All applicants to MS/M.Phil/Ph.D. programs shall be required to take one of the following non-subject specific admissions test:

iThe Graduate Record Examination (GAT/GRE) test administered by the Education Testing Service;
iiA graduate admission test administered by the Education Testing Council; OR
iiiWith the permission of the HEC, an equivalent test developed by the university, for admissions to postgraduate programs.
Copies of Educational Certificates/Documents (duly attested) are required:
•Attested photo copies of Pass/Marks certificates of Matriculation/Intermediate/ Graduation/
BS (4-Years)/ Master/MS/MPhil degrees.
•Attested photo copies of CNIC, Domicile & 03 passport size recent Photographs.
•Eligibility Certificate on the basis of Migration Certificate of your last examination passed by you from Institute/University other than Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur (at the time of admission).
•NOC from your employer if you are serving anywhere (at the time of admission).

•The candidate should read the catalogue carefully and must follow admission rules and regulations.
•The admission form can be filled online available at official website of the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur (http://www.salu.edu.pk/.) or using link https://dpgs.salu.edu.pk/
•The interested candidates are directed to upload all the necessary documents alongwith challan of Rs.3000/- (for MS/M.Phil) and Rs.4000/- (for P.hD.) deposited at designated HBL/connect branches as admission form processing fee.
