INTRODUCTION

The Institute of Islamic Studies was established in 2013 with the vision of promoting advanced learning and research in Islamic sciences. Since its inception, the Institute has endeavored to utilize all available resources to nurture competent scholars and researchers in the core areas of Qur’anic Studies, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and related disciplines. The primary objective of the Institute is not only to preserve the classical heritage of Islamic knowledge but also to equip students with intellectual and analytical skills to meet contemporary challenges. By encouraging critical understanding, contextual interpretation, and scholarly engagement, the Institute seeks to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity.

Graduates of the Institute are expected to have both a deep grounding in classical Islamic sciences and the ability to engage with intellectual, social, and cultural developments of the modern world. This dual focus enables them to contribute meaningfully as scholars, teachers, researchers, and interpreters of Islam in a rapidly changing global context.
