Orientation Welcomes New Batch of Law Faculty at SALU, Khairpur

Law Faculty of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, organized an orientation program today for its newly admitted students, formally welcoming the incoming batch to the academic community.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Session Judge Khairpur, Chaudhry Waseem Iqbal, who addressed the students. In his speech, he underscored the significance of education, perseverance, and merit as foundational pillars for personal and professional success.
University Vice Chancellor, Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousaf Khushk, also spoke at the gathering, reinforcing the values of education, discipline, and meritocracy. He further detailed the range of scholarships and financial grants available to support deserving students throughout their academic journey.
Chairman Mr. Javed Bhayo provided an overview of the university’s academic, research, and co-curricular offerings. He highlighted the department’s record of excellence, noting that its graduates have consistently secured top positions in LLM admissions, excelled in civil judge examinations, and achieved outstanding results in the Law GAT. Additionally, he emphasized the department’s commitment to practical training through regularly organized moot court competitions, aimed at sharpening students’ legal skills.
The orientation concluded with a formal vote of thanks, marking the beginning of the new academic session at the university.
