A Fresh Beginning at SALU: Vice Chancellor’s Unannounced Visit Inspires BS Batch 2026 Across Various Departments on the First Day of the New Academic Session:

On the first day following the winter vacation and the arrival of the new 2026 BS batch, Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, conducted an extensive visit to various departments across the university's faculties.
The VC personally interacted with the incoming students, extending a warm welcome to the institution. "We welcome you to the university," he stated, encouraging them to embrace their new academic environment.
Addressing the fresh cohort, Dr. Khushk highlighted the opportunities ahead. "You are new but owner of here too and there are a lot of places and things you can explore and visit," he said. He emphasized that the university experience will provide new avenues for learning, developing communication skills, and building friendships.
"All this will enhance your exposure and skills, which will help in finding a good job and life after graduation," the Vice Chancellor advised. He urged students to focus on continuous learning and grooming, assuring them that faculty members would play a pivotal role in polishing their skills and expertise.
Dr. Khushk specifically recommended that students visit key sites within the university, including the archeology museum and others, to broaden their perspective.
The occasion was attended by a number of university officials and faculty members, including Professor Dr Samina Rajpar,
Professor Dr Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman Abro, Professor Dr Abdullah Maitalo, Professor Dr Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, Dr Javed Ahmed Ujjan,
Dr Zahid Sahito, Dr. Firdous Bhugti, and Dr. Sahib Oad. Also present were Muhammad Hassan Halepoto, Waseem Kalhoro, Aijaz Mahar, Ayaz Mari and others.
The orientation event set a positive tone for the new academic session, focusing on student engagement, skill development, and community building within the university.
