In a best move towards digital governance, Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) has officially launched the first-ever website for the Office of the Inspector of Colleges, marking a significant leap from manual operations to a transparent, online system.
The new digital platform was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of SALU, Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, at a ceremony held at the university. The website is designed to be a comprehensive portal for all affiliated colleges and institutes, providing centralized access to official information and updates.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Khushk highly appreciated the efforts of the Inspector of Colleges for successfully spearheading this digital transformation.
“This progressive initiative will greatly enhance efficiency and transparency in official matters,” stated Dr. Khushk. He expressed his full support and confidence in the Inspector of Colleges, commending his visionary approach and dedicated commitment to institutional improvement.
The newly launched website will serve as a one-stop resource for critical information, including details on college affiliation, HEC policies, student enrollment and registration, eligibility and equivalence certificates, and approved syllabi and course schemes. It will also host day-to-day official correspondence, streamlining communication between the university and its affiliated institutions.
Echoing the Vice Chancellor's sentiments, the Inspector of Colleges, Munir Ahmed Shah Rashidi, expressed his gratitude for the leadership and guidance of Dr. Khushk.
“Under the visionary and dynamic leadership of Meritorious Professor Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khushk, the Office of the Inspector of Colleges is determined to achieve further milestones and move towards a fully automated and digital system,” Mr. Rashidi stated.
The launch event was attended by senior university officials, including Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Wahid Bux Jatoi, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences Professor Dr Noor Ahmed Shaikh, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Registrar Dr Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh, Director Finance Qazi Nizam Uddin, Controller of Examination Nazir Mangnejo, Mujtaba Jatoi, Aijaz Mahar, Waseem Kalhoro, Eng Asghar Ali Shaikh, Dr Faheem Jatoi, and others, who collectively appreciated the initiative as a major step forward for the university.
This digital initiative is widely seen as a cornerstone in SALU's journey toward modernization, improved accessibility, and institutional excellence.
