Islamabad : The Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Yousuf Khushk, called on the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Prof. Dr. Niaz Akhtar, in a courtesy meeting.
The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere. Matters relating to higher education reforms, academic excellence, quality assurance, research promotion, governance, and the future strategic direction of universities were discussed in detail.
Mr. Murtaza Noor, National Coordinator, Inter-University Consortium, was also present during the meeting.
The Vice Chancellor congratulated Prof. Dr. Niaz Akhtar on assuming the prestigious office and expressed confidence that, under his dynamic and visionary leadership, the higher education sector in Pakistan will further strengthen and achieve new milestones of progress.
