The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur organized a day-long workshop on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) today at the Kamyab Jawan Hall, Building of Service Extension.
As per the directives of the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk, and under the supervision of the Deans, the program was hosted by Mr. Halar Ali Malik, a dedicated staff member of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC).
The event aimed to enhance institutional understanding and implementation of KPIs within the higher education framework.
Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani joined as a guest speaker via Microsoft Teams. His online comprehensive briefing supplemented the core session, offering diverse perspectives and practical approaches to leveraging KPIs for institutional improvement.
The primary session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Iram Rani from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), SALU. Her in-depth presentation focused on the strategic role, development, and application of KPIs in academic and administrative settings, providing attendees with crucial insights for quality assurance and performance measurement.
The workshop saw robust participation from the university's academic leadership, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to quality enhancement.
Attendees included all Deans of faculties including Professor Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Professor Dr. Noor Ahmed Shaikh, and Professor Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, alongside Heads of Departments (HODs) and Program Team (PT) members from every academic program at SALU.
HODs actively engaged in discussions and contributed valuable input throughout the workshop.
This broad-based engagement is expected to facilitate the effective cascading of KPI knowledge and practices across all university departments, aligning with national and international quality standards in higher education.
