Shah Abdul Latif University Begins Preparations for Admission Test 2027 — Aspiring Students, Get Ready!

Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, has formally begun preparations for the Admission Test 2027, setting the stage for the upcoming General Admissions 2027. A high-level meeting was held at the Syndicate Hall of the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat to ensure a transparent, accessible and student-friendly admission process.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Meritorious Professor Dr Yousuf Khushk, who comprehensively reviewed the overall General Admission 2027 process, examined the admission prospectus, and assessed the question papers and arrangements for the upcoming Admission Test.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor directed that social media and other digital platforms be extensively utilised to take the Admissions 2027 message to prospective students across Sindh and beyond, particularly those living in remote areas. He also called for the active involvement of students, teachers, alumni and other stakeholders so that no deserving student misses an opportunity simply because information did not reach them.
“Many talented young people in our region come from remote and financially constrained backgrounds. SALU is committed to opening the doors of quality higher education to them through affordable fees, scholarships and equal opportunities,” Dr Khushk said.
He added that SALU offers various scholarship opportunities to its students and continues to strengthen linkages with national and international universities and organisations, providing students with wider opportunities for learning, research, skills development and professional growth.
The Vice Chancellor said that the University’s focus is not merely on awarding degrees, but on preparing young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
Dr Khushk appreciated the Admission Committee for its dedicated efforts and directed all concerned officials to make the entire admission process transparent, merit-based, simple and welcoming for every applicant.
The meeting reviewed three major areas: the overall General Admission 2027 process, the admission prospectus, and the question papers and arrangements for the upcoming Admission Test.
The meeting was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellors Professor Dr Wahid Bux Jatoi (Main Campus), Professor Dr Maqsood Zia (Ghotki Campus), and Professor Dr Minhoon Khan Laghari (Shahdadkot Campus).
The Deans in attendance included Professor Dr Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Faculty of Arts & Languages; Professor Dr Mushtaque Ali Jakhrani, Faculty of Natural Sciences; Professor Dr Noor Ahmed Shaikh, Faculty of Physical Sciences; and Professor Dr Liaquat Ali Chandio, Faculty of Social Sciences.
Also present were Registrar Muhammad Hassan Halepoto, Director Finance Qazi Nizamuddin, Dr Sahib Oad, Director Admissions Aamir Pathan, Munir Ahmed Shah Rashidi, Farhan Latif Memon, Nazir Phulpoto, Suleman Shar, Sajjid Danwar, Arslan Larik, Waseem Kalhoro, Aijaz Mahar and others.
