Khairpur: In a decisive move aimed at upholding transparency and ensuring the smooth conduct of academic assessments, the Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, carried out a comprehensive inspection of the ongoing first-semester examinations on the main campus today. The unannounced visit was part of the university administration’s broader strategy to maintain rigorous oversight throughout the examination period.
Dr. Khushk personally visited multiple examination halls, meticulously reviewing key aspects of the examination process. His inspection focused on the adequacy of seating arrangements, the effectiveness of invigilation protocols, and the overall facilities provided to students. During his visit, the Vice Chancellor issued clear directives to the administration, emphasizing the urgent need for a fair, disciplined, and disturbance-free environment. Specifically, he ordered that all essential amenities, including the consistent availability of clean drinking water and proper ventilation in every hall, be ensured without delay.
Beyond the physical infrastructure, Dr. Khushk took time to engage directly with students and faculty members present at the examination centers. He reassured them of the university’s full commitment to facilitating a seamless examination process, stating that any concerns regarding the conduct of exams or the adequacy of facilities would be addressed promptly. “Our priority is to provide a conducive atmosphere for students to perform their best without any inconvenience,” Dr. Khushk said on the occasion. He further reiterated a firm stance on academic integrity, adding, “Transparency and discipline in examinations are non-negotiable.” The Vice Chancellor vowed to maintain this level of rigorous oversight for the entire duration of the examination period, balancing fairness with student comfort.
Dr. Khushk was accompanied by a high-level delegation of senior university teachers and officials. Those present included Dean of Natural Sciences Professor Dr. Mushtaque Ali Jakhrani, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Liaquat Ali Chandio, along with Professor Dr. Samina Rajpar, Professor Dr. Hidayatullah Shaikh, Professor Sarfraz Korejo, Dr. Javed Ujjan, Dr. Shahida Chandio, Professor Ishrat Hussain Mirani, Dr. Majid Ansari, Dr. Irshad Wassan, and Dr. Akhlaq Larik, among others.
In addition to the academic Deans and professors, key examination and administrative officials were also present during the inspection. Controller of Examinations Nazir Phulpoto, along with Tahir Khaskheli, Waqar Shah, , and Students Advisor Farhan Latif Memon, assured the Vice Chancellor that his directives would be strictly adhered to. The officials pledged to work proactively to resolve any logistical or supervisory issues, reinforcing the university’s commitment to an efficient and transparent examination system that prioritizes student needs above all else.
