Youm-e-Takbeer Commemorated at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur

Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, solemnly observed Youm-e-Takbeer to mark Pakistan’s historic achievement of becoming the first nuclear power in the Islamic world on May 28, 1998. The event was organized by the Students Society Center and witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and staff.

On this significant occasion, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khuskh, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, shared his message ,He stated, “Youm-e-Takbeer is a day of national pride that reflects our unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty. Our nuclear strength is a testament to the determination, unity, and scientific advancement of our nation.

Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, Coordinator of the Students Society Center, addressed the gathering and said, “Youm-e-Takbeer is not only a day to remember our strategic triumph, but also a call for youth to rise with a sense of patriotism and responsibility. Our students are the true guardians of national ideals.”

Faculty members also shared their insights. Ms. Shamila Rubab Rizvi Faculty, Islamic Studies, Mr. Asad Abbas Faculty, Mathematics, and Mr. Sohail Ahmed, Mr Muzamil Members, Students Society Network emphasized the enduring relevance of May 28, urging students to contribute positively to the nation’s peace, progress, and security.
