Marka-e-Haq Commemorated at SALU Khairpur with Milli Naghma, Rally, Drama, and Seminar

Khairpur – The Department of Political Science, in collaboration with the Students Societies Center, Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), commemorated the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq with great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm at the Students Societies Center, SALU Khairpur. The event featured a patriotic rally, Milli Naghma, drama performance, and seminar to pay tribute to the spirit of national unity, sacrifice, and courage.
Vice Chancellor, Meritorious Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, while addressing the gathering, said that patriotism, national unity, and awareness among youth are essential for the strength, stability, and progress of Pakistan. He stated that the brave armed forces of Pakistan, under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, have written a beautiful chapter of bravery, sacrifice, and national defence in the history of the country. He said the nation takes pride in the courage and commitment of its armed forces and emphasized that universities must play their role in promoting national harmony, responsibility, and love for the homeland among students.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the Department of Political Science and the Students Societies Center for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring event to strengthen patriotic spirit and national solidarity among youth.

Dr. Shahida Amir Chandio highlighted the importance of educating students about national history, sacrifices, and collective responsibility towards peace, unity, and development of the country.
Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, Coordinator Students Societies Center, said that universities play a vital role in nurturing responsible citizens and promoting patriotism, harmony, and positive engagement among youth through academic and extracurricular activities.
Dr. Inayat Bhatti, Chairman Department of Pakistan Studies, said that the spirit of unity and sacrifice demonstrated by the nation and armed forces reflects the true strength of Pakistan. He encouraged students to remain committed to the values of national integrity and social responsibility.
During the event, students presented a Milli Naghma and performed a drama highlighting patriotism, sacrifice, and national unity. Students also participated in a patriotic rally with great enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants raised spirited slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Army Paindabad.”
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor visited the Heat Stroke Relief Camp established in the wake of Bunyan-un-Marsoos, organized by Dr. Ikhlaq Larik and his team. The Vice Chancellor also met with the children of Shaheed Naseem Larik and appreciated their courage and sacrifices for the nation.
Retired Professor Dr. Taj Mohammed Lashari, Mr. Farhan Latif Memon, faculty members, students, and a large number of participants attended the event.
